Porcelain paving is Modern, Durable, Anti-Slip and Easy Clean. This paving is the new kid on the block, with so many good properties; we can see why is so popular with our customers. Porcelain is manufactured in many countries including Italy, Portugal, Poland and India. We have found the difference in quality to be very minimal and wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them once layed.
Sandstone paving is still a very popular stone to lay, common colours are Raj Blend, Kandla Grey and Autumn Brown. Sandstone can come in either mixed size pattern or same size slabs both we think look good. We would recommend sealing your sandstone if you want the wet look (all our photo are taken with the paving wet).
Concrete paving is typically used to extend existing patios or for shed bases. With three common patterns being flat, riven or texted; with colours being buff/golden, grey/natural and charcoal.
Limestone paving is soft textured stone, giving a very smooth looking finish. Due to the formation of the stone it is very susceptible to face, for this reason we highly recommend sealing your paving in accordance with the sealers instructions.
Slate paving is a unique product that we don't recommend, with a tendancy to delaminate shortly after laying and getting very slippery in the wetter months. Alternatively we would recommend limestone paving for a very similar look.
Granite paving is a very luxurious paving stone being very hard wearing and good resistance to UV rays. With little maintenance due to its low water absorption, this is a great stone for a busy garden.
